Crowmarsh Parish Neighbourhood Plan

Our neighbourhood Plan is now four years old. It needs to be updated to bring it into line with emerging National and District Government policies. This also provides an opportunity for us to review our existing Plan and accommodate new development sites and other changes that have occurred within the Parish – we can alter or moderate our existing development policies and add new ones as we see fit.
The review starts with a request for you to share your own views and opinions to inform changes for the updated Plan. The Steering Group will hold exhibitions in April to explain the process and the options that are available.
The first exhibition will be at North Stoke Village Hall between 10 am and 12 noon on Saturday 6 April, and then we will be at Crowmarsh Village Hall at the monthly Community Café on Saturday 13 April between 10 am and 12-30 pm. We very much look forward to talking to you about the review at one or other of the exhibitions, so that we can learn what changes you would make in the new
Plan.
We will ask you to complete a brief questionnaire for you to highlight your own preferences and concerns that you would include in the new Plan. The questionnaire is available at the below link, and paper copies will also be available at the exhibitions.

Riverside Pool and Splashpark 2024 Season – talk to councillors on 23rd March, 10-12

We invite you to share your views on how the wonderful Riverside Pool and Splashpark’s operation could be changed for the better in the 2024 season and beyond.  We’ll be at St Mary’s Church café from 10am – 12pm on Saturday 23rd March.  SODC and Wallingford Town Councils will be there to listen, ask questions and discuss. We imagine there may then be further conversations in the coming months.  You want to get involved practically too – to help new ideas happen – when the time comes. And to be clear; SODC has a contract with Better to operate the facility until 2026 which may mean that some suggestions may not be possible, ever, or at least until then. And, in the spirit of sharing creative ideas and having the discussion, we invite you to come along and talk about this great community asset.
